Event/Program Logistics Process
- Make sure your group's proposed on-site event & date are approved prior to planning out the details.
- Once approval is secured, reach out to Phil Nordlinger or Jillian Peskin in the Beth Or Office, 215-646-5806, to review any questions you have regarding logistics, maintenance, security &/or staff support needs.
- Submit an Event Set Up Form a minimum of one week prior to your event in order for your event set up to flow as smoothly as possible.
- Serving Food at your event?
- Please follow Beth Or's kosher-style guidelines. Biblically prohibited foods are not permitted (i.e. Meats: Pork products, rabbit; Poultry: Scavenger & predatory birds; Fish: Shellfish, mollusks, water mammals.)
- Meat and dairy can be offered at the same time, but not specifically together, giving the participant the choice whether or not they want to combine the items, i.e. for a lunch platter: Meats on one table, cheese on another but not on the same table, desserts with dairy products not on the table with the meat products, offer a vegetarian option for those who follow more strict kosher guidelines, etc.)
- We ask that you use one of our approved caterers. Please contact Jillian if you have any questions regarding caterers.
- Please contact the clergy if you have any questions about Beth Or's kosher-style guidelines.
