Collection Drives

Just One Project allows our congregants to donate toiletries (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.) which are delivered each week to Mitzvah Circle to help meet the needs of children and families within the Greater Philadelphia area. Drop off location: Labeled bin in school lobby.

Clothing Drive provides an opportunity to do good while cleaning out your closets! Gently used men’s, women’s, and infant/children’s clothing is donated to Mitzvah Circle to help meet needs throughout the region. Drop off location: Labeled bin in school lobby.

Household Goods Drive is another year-round collection that benefits newly settled refugees who have come to Philadelphia through the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS Pennsylvania). Drop off location: Labeled bin in school lobby.

Food Drive alleviates hunger issues for those who lack a reliable source for a sufficient amount of food on a regular basis. Non-perishable food items are appreciated. Deliveries are made monthly to the Inter-Faith Food Cupboard. Drop off location: Large labeled bin in main synagogue entrance foyer.

Cradles to Crayons is an ongoing collection for infants, children and teens which includes books, games, school supplies, toys and sports equipment. Drop off location: Labeled bin in school lobby.

Beth Or Troop Connections (BOTC) is a collection that precedes Chanukah and Passover and lets U.S. soldiers serving abroad know that we are thinking of them. Drop off location: Labeled bin in school lobby.
