Tikkun Olam
Tikkun Olam
Guided by our core value of Tikkun Olam (repair of the world), as a community we seek opportunities for our congregants, clergy and staff to become personally involved in activities that give to those who are in need, sustain our moral values and position Congregation Beth Or as a leader and role model for Social Action, Social Justice, as well as the support of Israel.
Our Social Action Committee is busy doing good work! On an ongoing basis, and during specific times of the year, we offer many programs, often partnering with other organizations, faiths, and causes/issues to raise awareness, provide support, take action, and/or advocate for those who need it. Please use the links on the side of this page to scroll through a list and description of these programs by category:
- Collection Drives
- Congregational Support
- Food Insecurity
- Health & Healing
- Families in Crisis & Disaster Relief

- Social Justice
