The Olitsky Gallery is pleased to present an exciting exhibit of the art of Dail Fried. Please join us on Friday, September 12, immediately following Shabbat services, to meet the artist. 

Dail Fried earned a BA at Boston University and has painted with many well-known artists. She has exhibited extensively and her work has won numerous awards.

Dail’s interest in Painting, Printmaking & Sculpture centers on expressing the essence and heightened emotion of a past experience or remembered fleeting moment. Using paint and mixed media on canvas, paper & carved stone… she wishes to engage the viewer with a newly formed presence that has no prescribed boundaries and is not necessarily of a particular time and space. 
The end result can be compared to listening to music, whether classical or jazz… a deeply felt moment.

Dail says, “Intuition and spontaneity are my tools as I experiment with endless variations of line form color and texture, striving to capture the inner landscape that resonates within me.”

The exhibit will continue through November 12.
