Our Library
Our Library
Our spacious library serves our members with over 4000 items, including general interest Judaica, fiction, history, interfaith, Holocaust resources, Bible, holidays and observances, pre-school and children's sections, DVD and videos, reference materials, biography, newspapers and journals. We have an automated catalog and circulation.
The library acts as a resource for Religious School students and teachers as well. Classroom visits to the library occur on a regular basis, and library materials are available for use in the classrooms. The library is open when the building is open and is maintained by volunteers.
We can no longer accept general donations of books. We ask your cooperation in not leaving donations of books in the library. Please contact the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia or local libraries to see if they can accommodate your donation. You can bring sacred material to Barbara Murtha to have it disposed of respectfully in our genizah.
