2023/5784 High Holy Days Headquarters

L'Shana Tova! Welcome to our High Holy Days Headquarters, where you will find everything you need to observe the Holy Days at Beth Or.

Reminders for congregants who are attending Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services in person:

  • e-tickets are required for High Holy Day services. Bring your e-ticket email with you to present to the greeters at the main entrance (on your phone or print out) for each person who is pre-registered for your family and guests. If your children are pre-registered for Youth Services or Babysitting, once you enter the building, please bring them with you to the Olitzky Gallery to Check-in. Check-in opens at 8:30am.
  • If you qualify for parking, please place your parking pass on your dashboard so it is visible for the parking attendants. All others should proceed to Temple Ambler (Lot #3) and use the shuttle buses. If you need to drop someone off, please enter the parking lot via Welsh Road, proceed to the parking circle and follow the directions of the parking attendants.

If you are not logged in or have forgotten your user name or password, you will be prompted in order to log in. If you have trouble using the online form, contact the office during business hours, 215-646-5806, and we will help you.

  •  The office will review and verify your account is in good standing. (All prior year balances and 1/3 of current year dues have been paid unless special arrangements have been made by contacting Robin MInkoff.)
  • Once processing is complete, prior to Rosh Hashanah, an email will be sent to the person who completed the form. This email will contain e-tickets for all of your family members, including children, paid guests and reciprocal guests
  • Please check this email carefully to make sure all family members and guests are listed and assigned to the correct service. (This includes children's services and babysitting.) If your e-tickets are not correct, or you do not receive the email by Monday, September 11, please contact the office during business hours for help no later than end of day Wednesday, September 13, 215-646-5806.
  • You must print out or show your e-ticket email on your smart phone to the greeters when entering the building for all services.

Reciprocal Ticket Requests:

  • Reciprocal tickets are handled separately from your paid Guest tickets. Do not include these guests with your online e-ticket request form. If your guests are members of another URJ congregation, ask them to have their synagogues send a Reciprocal Form to the Beth Or office as soon as possible and note which Beth Or congregant they will be joining
  • There is no charge for reciprocal tickets.
  • Once the form is received and processed by our office, their e-tickets will be included in your family's e-ticket email.

Youth Services & Babysitting:

  • Due to space limitations, Youth Services and Babysitting are available only to those who pre-registered and are listed on your e-ticket email.
  • Once you present your e-tickets, proceed to the check in table in the Olitzky Art Gallery hallway to get their room assignment and then escort them to their classroom. After services, pick them up directly from their classroom.
  • The check in table opens at 8:30am.
