Our 4-week virtual tour of Israel returns! Once again, you have the chance to visit Israel from the comfort of your home. 

This travel experience is sponsored by Congregation Beth Or and led by licensed Israel Tour Guide Rotem Shahar.

During four weekly one-hour Zoom visits, Rotem will show you the highlights of the country and stop to talk about what you are seeing, as if you are with her in person.

What will we explore? 

July 14: Tel Dan
This National Reserve in the north is Israel like you’ve never seen! The lush natural landscape on the Dan river is also full of history, as it was the site of a major city in the northern Kingdom of Israel.
 
July 21:  Haifa
A charming port city, Haifa offers stunning views from Mt Carmel, looking over the Mediterranean and off to the north of the country. Here also are the gardens of tbe Bab, and the center of the Baha’i faith.
 
August 4: Ein Gedi
Spend time in a beautiful desert oasis, mentioned many times throughout the Bible. There are also ancient historic sites, as well as Roman/Byzantine elements to see.
 
August 11: Jerusalem
We’ll finish again in Jerusalem, this time visiting the City of David and the Davidson Center in the Jerusalem Archeaological Park, ending with the sights of the marketplace at Machane Yehuda.
