Come to the Rosenfeld Social Hall after services for our traditional Purim Mitzvah for the entire family of packing snack bags filled with 2,500lbs of non-perishable essentials to give to Manna's Market in Lansdale to help those who are food insecure.

During the event, children can also make their own groggers from mac & cheese boxes to use for Purim. Craft supplies for the grogger-making station provided by Sisterhood. Mac & cheese boxes will be collected ahead of time - please drop off in the school lobby before 2/26.

About Manna's Market:

Manna’s Market provides free food to approximately 1,200 households in need every year. The Market looks and functions like a small grocery store, complete with canned and boxed food, fresh produce, meat, and dairy products. We also carry low-salt and low-sugar products as well as gluten-free items. Instead of spending cash, each household receives points to spend based on their family size and age of family members. Households can shop twice a month, with healthier food items “costing” less points, thereby incentivizing healthy choices. For example, bags of dried beans are worth only 1 point, allowing families to stretch their points and eat healthy. Dried beans are popular because they are a good source of protein and can be used in many ways.
