2024 Celebration Weekend honoring Rabbi Gregory and Laurie Marx

Join us for Beth Or's 2024 Spring Fundraiser, a special weekend where we will pay the ultimate tribute to Rabbi Gregory and Laurie Marx's 35 years of leadership and service to our community, prior to his retirement this June!

3/11/24: Please be aware of these important updates!

  • Use the button below to reserve an e-tribute book ad to honor Rabbi & Laurie with your good wishes. Ad sizes range from full page to sixteenth page. If you need help with your ad, please contact Samantha Drossner.
  • Limited Sponsorships, which include Gala Tickets, are still available. Contact Jennie Nerenberg for information.
  • If you are interested in individual Gala Tickets, please contact Jillian Peskin to be added to the Gala wait list.

Credit card payment is subject to processing fees. Please contact the office during business hours, 215-646-5806, if you need help submitting the on-line form.

Celebratory Events

Shabbat Service honoring Rabbi Gregory and Laurie Marx | Friday, April 19 | 7pm 

Help us kick off the weekend during an enhanced Shabbat service where we honor Rabbi Gregory and Laurie Marx' legacy with a variety of special guests and surprises. A beautiful Oneg follows. This service is open to all. No RSVP is required. For those who cannot or prefer not to attend the service in person, please join us remotely via Livestream. 

Gala honoring Rabbi Gregory and Laurie Marx | Saturday, April 20 | 6pm - 10pm

Join us for a spectacular evening of cocktails, dinner, drinks, music & dancing with Rabbi and Laurie. (Suggested dress code: Cocktail Attire)

Tickets: $180/person.

The Marx Celebration Weekend is part of L’dor Va’dor, our two year celebration shining a light on the community we’ve built together and renewing our strength for our next 70 years. There are six (6) L’dor Va’Dor sponsorship levels covering the Marx Celebration Weekend and L'dor Va'dor special events through 2025.

e-Tribute Book Ad 

Share your good wishes with Rabbi and Laurie Marx by participating in a commemorative e-Tribute Book which will be displayed on a large screen throughout the celebration weekend and available to view on-line on the Beth Or website for years to come. This special piece is electronic and not printed. A printed copy will be presented to Rabbi & Laurie as a keepsake.
