In the spirit of Chanukah, enter your best kugel for a chance to win prizes (and bragging rights) in Sisterhood's first-ever Kugel Cook-Off Contest!!

Where:  Beth Or Social Hall

Who:  Open to cooks of all abilities

What: Submit your favorite kugel in one or more of four tasting categories -- Sweet, Savory, Potato or Holiday -- to be moderated by Alyson Gass and judged by our very own Beth Or celebrity judges including Laurie Marx, Cantor Jaime Murley and Barbara Murtha!

• Drop off your kugel(s) in heatable, disposable containers by 3pm on the day of the event. Full-size kugel not required; Submit take-out sized container.
• Be sure to include which category you are entering. Sisterhood will plate your kugel for the judges.  
• Kugels will be presented anonymously to the judges for tasting (no names will be shown)
• Due to current health & safety guidance, tasting will be limited to the judges only. 
• Bring 12 copies of your recipe(s) for distribution during the event and submission in our Sisterhood Cookbook project.

More:  A panel discussion follows the contest. We will explore different kugel styles, trouble shooting, and share stories about this beloved delicacy.

COVID-19 health & safety guidelines will be followed during this event, including social distancing, mask wearing and food/refreshments will not be served.

RSVP to Ellen Mirbach by November 29. Include which category(ies) you are entering when you RSVP.  Whether you are entering a kugel or are participating in the audience for the event, RSVP is required.
