Panel Discussion: Gun Violence as a Public Health Issue

The Beth Or Social Justice Committee invites all to hear from a panel who will discuss their different perspectives, research and experiences with gun violence and public health. Q&A to follow.

Dr. Amy Goldberg, Chair and Professor of Surgery, Surgeon-in-Chief, Temple University Health System

Movita Johnson-Harrell, Founder of the Charles Foundation, Interim Supervisor of Victim Services in Philly’s District Attorney’s Office, and gun violence survivor

Dr. Sara Jacoby, Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Co-Chair of the Advocacy and  Policy Committee of the Society for the Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR).
