2022/5783 High Holy Days Headquarters

Welcome to our High Holy Days Headquarters, where you will find everything you need to observe the Holy Days. We are thrilled to worship together in person as a community this year! For those who are not able to attend in person, or prefer to worship virtually, all services will be livestreamed in real time.

2022/5783 HHD Reminders - updated 9/22/22:

  • e-tickets are required for all services. If you registered for tickets and your account is in good standing, your e-ticket email has been sent to your inbox from HHD@bethor.org. • You must present your e-ticket email on your phone or print out to show to the greeters before entering the building.
  • Children may attend Youth Services or Babysitting ONLY if they are listed for these options on your e-ticket email.
  • If you qualify for on-site parking, your pass has been mailed to you. Please remember to display your pass when entering the parking lot, entering the lot from Welsh Road. No parking pass is needed to park in Temple Ambler Lot #3 and use the shuttle busses.

On-Line Ticket Request Form and e-Tickets:

We have moved to an electronic ticket system this year. Please note this new process and complete your on-line ticket request form by September 2:

2022/5783 Ticket Request Form

  • Important note when completing your form: Complete this form for all family members including children and paid guests. You must be logged in to your ShulCloud member account to complete the form. If you are not logged in or have forgotten your user name or password, you will be prompted in order to log in. If you have trouble using the on-line form, contact the office during business hours, 215-646-5806, and we will help you.
  • Once your form is received, the office will review and verify your account is in good standing. (All prior year balances and 1/3 of current year dues have been paid unless special arrangements have been made by contacting Amy Abrams.)
  • Once processing is complete, prior to Rosh Hashanah, an email will be sent to the person who completed the form. This email will contain e-tickets for all of your family members, including children and paid guests
  • Please check this email carefully to make sure all family members and guests are listed and assigned to the correct service. (This includes children's services and babysitting.)
  • You must print out or show this email on your smart phone to the greeters when entering the building for all services.

Make sure to add HHD@bethor.org and info@bethor.org as SAFE SENDERS to your email server so that you get your e-ticket email and other important communications.

Reciprocal Ticket Requests:

  • Reciprocal tickets are handled separately from your paid Guest tickets. If your guests are members of another URJ congregation, ask them to have their synagogues send us a Reciprocal Form as soon as possible and note which Beth Or congregant they will be joining
  • There is no charge for reciprocal tickets.
  • Once the form is received and processed by our office, their e-tickets will be emailed to our congregant. Please note: The email with Reciprocal e-tickets will come separately from the e-ticket email you receive for your family and paid guests and must also be presented to the greeters when entering the building.

Youth Services & Babysitting:

  • Due to space limitations, Youth Services and Babysitting are available only to those who pre-registered and are listed on your e-ticket email.
  • Once you present your e-tickets, proceed to the check in table in the Olitzky Art Gallery hallway to get their room assignment and then escort them to their classroom. After services, pick them up directly from their classroom.
  • The check in table opens at 8:30am.

Seating, Health & Safety:

  • Once you present your e-tickets, please enter the building through the main entrance doors only.
  • If you are not assigned on-site parking and need to drop someone off, please enter the lot through the Welsh Road entrance, drop off at the main parking circle and follow the directions of the parking attendant. If you have not printed out an e-ticket email for this person, they must wait for you to return on the shuttle bus prior to entering the building.
  • We continue to follow the guidance of the CDC and the Beth Or COVID-19 Task Force. Masks are optional, but subject to change based on transmission trends in Montgomery County during the High Holy Days.
  • If you are feeling ill or have had recent exposure to COVID-19 or any communicable disease, please stay home and watch services on our Livestream sitehttps://bethor.livecontrol.tv/.
  • There are plenty of seats for all. We recommend those who prefer to be physically distanced from others to sit toward the back of the Rosenfeld Social Hall.
  • Please respect the seats that have been reserved for those who are physically challenged as well as those reserved for special donors according to Beth Or policy.
  • Refer to the HHD FAQs for additional information.
