Shabbat Worship The community and congregation are welcome to worship with us each Shabbat. Throughout the year, there are some special Shabbats with different start times such as Synaplex. Please check the calendar on this website for any change in service times. Information about weekly worship services can also be found on the weekly email blast sent out to all members. If you want to sign up for this email blast, please email Elisa Heisman at eheisman@bethor.orgFriday night: Shabbat worship is at 8:00 p.m, except the first Friday of the month when we have Family Shabbat worship at 7:00 p.m. There will be an alternative 8 pm Shabbat Service on the first Friday of the month held in the Jayne Haines Memorial Chapel. Saturday morning: Torah study begins every Saturday morning (through June) at 9:30 am. Times for Shabbat morning worship vary and you should always refer to the Beth Or website calendar or your Beth Or News for worship times. Depending on number of B'nai Mitzvah that Saturday, Shabbat Morning Worship can be at 9 am and 11 am or just one service at 11 a.m. On other Shabbat mornings where there is no B'nai Mitzvah, services start at 10:45 a.m. |
