Rabbi Marx 20th Anniversary Tribute Book
In honor of this joyous occasion, we invite you to join the community and participate in a Tribute Book. This 10" x 10", full color, perfect bound keepsake will highlight Rabbi Gregory and Laurie Marx and their service to Beth Or over the past 20 years. Deadline for ads is Friday, March 19, 2010. ABOUT TRIBUTE BOOK ADS
The purpose of the tribute book is to create a book that contains a collection of thoughtful and meaningful ads commemorating Rabbi Gregory and Laurie Marx's 20 years at Beth Or. Therefore, keep in mind the following when designing your ad:
- Please give considerable thought to your tribute message. In addition to saying thank you or congratulations, try to describe the impact the Marx's have had on your family.
- Please include pictures of Greg and Laurie Marx taking place in your family life cycle events (Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, etc.)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL/FAMILY SPONSORS
- Select the size of ad you would like to purchase
- Complete the tribute book ad submission form. (You should have received one in the mail or download one here.
- Create a personalized ad. You can create either a camera ready image or select from one of the available templates (see template examples below).
- For camera ready images - be creative, but make sure your ad fits in the available space (see the Camera Ready Image Size column in the table below). Save your ad in a common image format (jpg, gif, tiff, bmp, etc.)
- For the templates - Select the template you would like to use. Provide the the required number of pictures along with the message text of the ad.
- For text only ads - Provide the message text
- Email the following information to m20tbook@gmail.com:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Ad Type (Platinum, Gold, Silver, etc.)
- Ad Format (Template Name/Text Only/Camera Ready Image)
- Ad Text (The text of your ad)
- Ad Images/Pictures
- Send your ad submission form and check (payable to Congregation Beth Or) to:
Marx 20th Anniversary Committee, Congregation Beth Or, 239 Welsh Road, Maple Glen, PA 19002
Note, the preferred method for ad submission is via email. If you are unable to submit your ad via email or you have exceptional photos that you would like to include in your ad that do not exist in a electronic format, please mail them to the address listed under #5 above or drop them off at the Beth Or main office.
Ad Information
The table below describes available Tribute Book ad types. The ads will be organized in the book in the order they are listed in the table (Platinum before Gold before Silver, etc.) and the metallic level ads will be clearly identified by large headers and footers using colors corresponding to the level of the ad, i.e., platinum ads will have a platinum header and footer, gold ads will have gold header and footers, etc. Please note that the page size of the book will be 10" x 10", but the actual ad size (see the Camera Ready Image Size column) will be smaller to allow for headers, footer, margins, etc. Full-page ads (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc.) can be created by either creating your own ad and submitting a camera ready image or using one of the supplied templates. If a template is used, then simply select the template and provide the required images and text.
