Introduction BOFTY (Beth Or Federation of Temple Youth) is a group created so kids are able to build a Jewish community of their own through social activities, friendships, Tikkun Olam, laughter and fun. Through BOFTY, your child's Jewish identity and self esteem will climb to heights they never would have otherwise! Allow your children to experience the incredible benefits and long-lasting gains of youth group by encouraging them to attend youth group social events... you won't regret it (and neither will they)! First, the structure and age groups have been changed to include Kindergarten. The following are the new youth groups and their layout: Bitty BOFTY is K-2, Mini BOFTY is 3-5, Jr. BOFTY is 6-8, and Senior BOFTY is 9-12. The second major change regards membership dues. If your child is a member of Congregation Beth Or, than he/she is automaticly a member of the youth group. There will be no additional dues for the K-8 graders. If your child is in Sr. BOFTY, their membership dues will be reduced to $20.00 from $40.00.
